Music Education

Hello!  My name is Emily Barger and I am thrilled to be the Estill and Varnville Elementary Music Teacher!  I have been teaching for 13 years.  I earned my Bachelor’s of Music Education from Otterbein University   Previously I have taught Middle School and High School Orchestra as well as General Music in Ohio and Pennsylvania. 

In music we cover many topics including but not limited to theory and composition, history, instruments, and performance.  In addition to teaching music, I direct and facilitate theater both in school and in the community.  I look forward to a year of dynamic learning!
